Teacup Apple And Raisin Bread Puddings
Ingredients
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon custard powder
- 1 cup HeartActive milk
- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated orange rind
- olive oil spray
- 3 slices raisin bread
- 1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped cinnamon, for sprinkling
Method
- Whisk egg, sugar and powder together until combined, whisk in HeartActive and orange rind.
- Trim crusts from bread and cut each slice into 4 triangles.
- Lightly spray 2 x large ovenproof teacups or ramekins with oil and layer bread triangles and apples into dishes. Pour over milk mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon. Stand for 5 minutes.
- Bake at 160°C for 40 minutes or until set. Stand for 10 minutes before serving.
